the story of how love conquers all...

before we delve into blogger world of how megan and guy regan and boy met, fell in love, and, most recently, are planning their wedding, i wanted to take you back and explain the inspiration behind the title of their new and  extremely secretive blog "the {not so} secret life of regan and boy".

it all began many, many years ago when regan and her bestie meagan reagan began reminiscing. it was just the start of regan and boy's relationship and reagan decided that, similar to the character of phoebe from "friends", she would write a story of a special relationship between her bestie {this person will clearly remain nameless} and her new boyfriend. this story would be a secret, allegorical story, one where the reader will clearly not be able to tell who the characters are representing. thus, she called her characters megan and guy regan and boy.

so my readers can fully grasp the concept, i have linked the the episode of "friends" here. if you are not an avid friends watcher, this video is where you will learn that phoebe is writing a story about her friends monica and chandler marcia and chester.

with this kind of inspiration, it was only a matter of time until a blog was created. and what a more perfect time to begin than during regan and boy's engagement. so, here it is... the most updated happenings of the {not so} secret life of regan and boy.

so how does, in the words of phoebe, "love conquer all?". well, i will tell you that not all great loves are unbreakable. not all stories end in "happily ever after". and i cannot even guarantee that this one will, but what i can guarantee is a wonderful story of a life built on friendship and grown on true, everlasting love. how do i know this? because somewhere deep inside, after years and years of waiting for the right moment, that regan loved boy. and they would end up together. and i was right.
